Want to check our credentials?

All JGS gas installers are listed on the Gas Safe Register and will be happy to show you their ID cards before any work commences.

Since 1 April 2009, the Gas Safe Register has been the official body for gas safety in United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey (superseding CORGI). Whenever a gas engineer carries out work on your property, by law they must be on the Gas Safe Register. Possession of an ID card shows that your JGS engineer meets the Gas Safety Register criteria and you can be sure that the work will be completed competently and safely.

You can check the credentials of any gas installer on the Gas Safe Register website or by calling them for free on 0800 408 5500.

Note for landlords:

We can provide the support and service to enable you to get your Gas Safety Record as efficiently as possible.

As a landlord, you're responsible for the safety of your tenants. Your duties apply to appliances & flues in occupied residential properties. You must ensure that appliances are working correctly and guard against the dangers of carbon monoxide.

You can learn more on this from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website.
